No. GPS devices will not work indoors. GPS trackers have to establish direct connection to at least 4 satellites to be able to calculate their location accurately. GPS signal is the equivalent of a 20W light bulb 12,000 miles away so it is relatively easy to disrupt. Thick metal surfaces, Concrete and other dense obstacles will reduce accuracy or may completely block the GPS signal.
GPS trackers are extremely accurate, thanks to their parallel multi-channel design. Our GPS tracker accuracy range from 3 to 10 meters depending on the device you choose, assured the GPS tracker is installed correctly.
Some of our devices have built in memory or a micro SD card slot for GPS logging. This enables them to store GPS data in areas with no signal. When the GPS tracker regains signal it will automatically send the data stored in the memory to the authorised user. Please check our store for devices with this feature.
